One of Discord is an alternative metal band from Greece officially formed in 2015. The idea for this band came in 2010 when longtime childhood friends Dim and Bill decided to make a band based on some common ideas that they were working on at that time. Shortly after, Stratos (Varathron, Luna Obscura, Methods, Vert) and George (Psycho Choke, Luna Obscura, Methods) joined the band. Finally, in 2015, the band found what it was looking for in Michael.
After the completion of the band’s line up, the time was right to set up and record their debut album, named “Eris”, after the Greek Goddess of chaos, strife and discord. Following a period of pre-production process, George entered the Mix Studio in Thessaloniki in order to perform and record his drumming parts. After him, followed the recordings of bass and guitars, accordingly by Stratos, Dim and Bill, which were home recorded. Finally, the vocal parts were recorded by Michael in Infinite Loop Music Studio in Ioannina, along with Dim’s backing vocals. Now, with all the instruments recorded, Eris is upon its completion with only a few finishing touches to remain…
